Dana

Dana is a Medical Assistant at The Crane Center, which in practice means she is the person you see before and after the provider, and often the one who makes the visit feel manageable.

She handles the clinical side of an appointment: vitals, history, preparing the room, and making sure your provider has what they need before they walk in. On a first visit that work is what allows the appointment itself to be a conversation rather than an intake form.

Her work spans the whole practice. The Crane Center treats anxiety, depression, PTSD, bipolar disorder, ADHD and addiction, and also runs concierge primary care and women's health under the same roof. A medical assistant here supports psychiatric visits, medication management, and physical health appointments in the same day, which is unusual and is part of why patients can address mental and physical health in one place instead of two.

For patients on medication management, Dana is a familiar presence at every check-in. Finding the right medication is rarely a single decision, and having the same person taking your vitals and asking how the last few weeks have gone makes those visits less clinical and more like being known.

The practice serves Destin, Miramar Beach, the 30A communities, Inlet Beach and Panama City Beach, and does not bill insurance, which means appointments are longer and less rushed than most patients are used to.
